Love – The Driving Force in Art

Love is a universal phenomenon and a driving force. Every human being needs to love and to be loved. This is a type of feeling that simply cannot be taught. Each person has own definition of love either it’s a romantic love, family or friendship love. In any type of love, it all pertains to affection and tenderness we felt to another person. Generally, love can be defined in many different contexts, but it has its deep meaning in art as well.

What is the importance of Love in Art?

There is another kind of love – the love when we appreciate simple things in life like music, paintings, drawings, artists, sculpture, decorations, performing arts, crafts and other things that involve imaginative and technical skills. It is called love in arts. What is love as the driving force in art?

Being artist is not that easy. In the majority of cases time, energy, hard work, and talent are not necessarily a recipe for achievement. What is in the nature of an artist that allowed him to persevere and what is the secret for maintaining a positive outlook in life? It’s all because of LOVE. The love, passion and appreciation in art are the ingredients of every artist in each masterpiece. Indeed, art is every artist vehicle of expressions.

In this world, we are all artist. In any aspect of life, we love and appreciate arts in diverse forms – be it a painting, drawing, music and other forms of art. Some people admire the artist behind the masterpiece, others are fascinated to look at arts but nowadays majority of people will try to make their own masterpiece too. It naturally shows that we like to create our own art piece too. Being an artist, we can show our love and passion in arts by organizing our life on how to communicate with the world.

Today, art is an evolving and global concept. As arts industry continue to boost in this digital world, we should not forget the true importance of art – that is to love and appreciate every art piece and to use the life given to us in a significant way. In any type of love: for an instance a romantic love, it will not grow if there is no trust and love to one another. For an artist, art will not be appreciated if it is not built with love, creativity and appreciation.
