V-Ray Middle East Roadshow 2016

V-Ray Middle East Roadshow

Dates: May 10 – 16, 2016

This May, Chaos Group will head on a full-scale roadshow in the Middle East, with three day-long events dedicated to architectural visualization, product design and visual effects.

We kick off our V-Ray Middle East Roadshow in Dubai, where we’ll introduce Chaos Group’s exciting new product lineup. Our roadshow will then head to Abu Dhabi, then our roadshow will conclude in Doha.

In the morning we’ll look at how V-Ray can help the architecture and design industries. CG specialist Kalina Panteleeva will deliver an exclusive demonstration of V-Ray for Revit, followed by the Middle Eastern debut of a masterclass in rendering immersive VR projects with V-Ray 3.3 for 3ds Max.

For the afternoon session, Kalina will cover visualization and animation, with another exclusive presentation on V-Ray 3.0 for SketchUp, and V-Ray 3.3 for Maya.

Introducing V-Ray for Revit

Kalina Panteleeva will talk you through the highlights of V-Ray for Revit, Chaos Group’s powerful new foray into the architecture, engineering and construction industries. She will go through the concepts behind the product, and demonstrate the features that contribute to the remarkable power of this design-focused platform. You’ll gain a sense of the simplicity and ease of use of the product, as well as learning new workflows which will save you time and effort.

Masterclass: Rendering VR projects with V-Ray 3.3 for 3ds Max

V-Ray 3.3 for 3ds Max added an exciting new feature: support for virtual reality. Chaos Group’s CG Specialist Kalina Panteleeva will take you through the entire process of setting up a scene for VR, making use of the latest features and improvements. She will reveal how to deal with the challenges in lighting, creating realistic materials, and management of heavy geometry. You will see variance-based adaptive sampling, the added ray-traced rounded corners, the new sky model and aerial perspective, and stochastic flakes.

Introducing V-Ray 3.0 for SketchUp

In this exclusive demonstration, Kalina will introduce V-Ray 3.0 for SketchUp. She’ll show how you can create professional grade imagery with this popular and easy-to-use 3D modelling software.

Introducing V-Ray 3.3 for Maya

Kalina Panteleeva will walk you through the latest V-Ray 3.3 for Maya. The free update of V-Ray 3.0 for Maya is the equivalent of two service packs, boosting speed with 20-50% in most scenes. You will see final frame production rendering in action on the GPU with the updated V-Ray RT, as well as the variance-based adaptive sampler for better noise detection and cleaner images. You’ll also be guided through the latest feature additions, including ray-traced rounded corners, stochastic flakes and tri-planar mapping, the new sky model and aerial perspective and the impressive, greatly upgraded V-Ray clipper. Finally, Kalina will talk you through the user interface and default render settings.

Kalina Panteleeva – CG Specialist, Chaos Group
