Al Ain Distribution Company - TAQA
Pixelhunters created two immersive experiences for Al Ain Distribution Company (AADC), a part of TAQA Abu Dhabi, for the World Utility Congress 2023. These experiences showcased AADC's outstanding sustainability-related projects.
The first project focused on AADC's Fault Passage Indicators system, which helps increase the efficiency of identifying and resolving issues in 11kV overhead lines. Pixelhunters developed a game-based solution that simulated the principle of operation of the FPIs in an engaging way. Users could experience the journey from problem identification to field-based fixes through an interactive game approach.
The second project was a gesture-based immersive experience that demonstrated the capabilities of AADC's fully automated water control center. This interactive experience allowed users to explore and interact with the advanced features of the water control center using gestures.
Both projects aimed to highlight AADC's efforts in creating sustainable projects and provided an innovative and engaging way for attendees of the World Utility Congress 2023 to learn about AADC's initiatives.
