VIRTUAL WORLD PREMIERE OF HEKAYAT: SYMPHONIC TALES BY IHAB DARWISH

On 30th March 2021, was the prepemiere of the first ever virtual symphonic concert of the Emirati composer Ihab Darwish, produced by Abu Dhabi Festival.

Hekayat: Symphonic Tales will traverse the globe in 13 compositions played by 128 musicians in 20 countries, capturing the musical traditions and cultures of every continent. Making history as the first performance of its kind by an Emirati artist, the event is a marvel of technological sophistication, with performers recorded separately in their countries and appearing together as one orchestra on the stage of Abu Dhabi’s luxurious Emirates Palace Auditorium.

Pixelhunters woked on making this virtuality happening - virtual stage, VFX, editing, compositing & post - production. It was a challenge meeting virtually people who have never met in reality to perform together on this virtual stage.
