AVA Platinum Award for Pixelhunters' "Why Roar?"
Another Award for Pixelhunters' video "Why Roar?". This time it is a 2013 AVA Platinum Award in the category "Creativity/Special Effects/Animation".
AVA Awards began as a celebration of the audio-visual arts. Today, it also recognizes the role that evolving digital is playing in the transfer of information. Through its interactive capabilities, the internet is allowing communication professionals to respond to the user’s actions by presenting content such as text, graphics, animation, video, audio, etc.
AVA Awards is an international competition that recognizes outstanding work by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of media that is part of the evolution of digital communication. Work ranges from audio and video production- to developing websites that present interactive components such as video, animation, blogs, and podcasts- to interactive social media sites- to other forms of user-generated communication.
AVA Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). The Association administers recognition programs, provides judges and rewards outstanding achievement and service to the profession. AMCP also oversees the MarCom Awards and the Hermes Creative Awards, two of the largest competitions in the world for marketing and communication professionals. Pixelhunters is also a 2012 Hermes Platinum Award winner for the "Fortune Festival" video.
AVA's Platinum Award is presented to those entries judged to be among the most outstanding submissions in the competition. Platinum winners are recognized for their excellence in terms of quality, creativity and resourcefulness.
